Planning for International Dialogue with China on Cybersecurity for International Security
StaffHerb Lin, Chief Scientist Eric Whitaker, Senior Program Assistant Project Information
The Committee on International Security and Arms Control (CISAC) and CSTB will convene a one-day planning meeting to examine how dialog with China could enhance cooperation and advance security for the United States and others. The meeting will be a planning effort convening selected individuals from the U.S. to identify the questions and ideas on cybersecurity for international security that should be discussed in prospective dialogues with counterparts in China as well as to identify potential Chinese counterparts. As warranted by the meeting, one or more project prospectuses will be prepared for institutional approval of future activities. A staff authored internal whitepaper to be used by CISAC and CSTB as the basis of these future prospectuses and funding proposals will be generated following the planning meeting.
