Standards and Assessment
Over the past two decades standards and assessment have become central mechanisms for change in education nationally and at the state level. The recent report A Framework for K-12 Science Education heralds a new generation of science standards, starting with a vision of excellence in science education for all students that is based on a synthesis of recent research findings.
