The goal of the fourth meeting of the Roundtable on Understanding Crime Trends in the United States is to understand how, and to what extent, population- and demographic-based factors may have influenced crime trends over the last two decades. Sessions at the meeting will focus on age-period-cohort analyses of crime trends, pregnancy and fertility trends, race, and immigration. The discussions during the meeting are expected to set the stage for one or more published papers on this topic.
