2018 U.S. - Egypt Joint Fund Symposium
The 2018 Joint Fund Symposium took place November 5-7 in Cairo. Through a series of flash-talk and poster presentations, Joint Fund collaborative research grantees from Cycles 17 and 18 presented their project activities and future plans to stakeholders in the U.S. and Egyptian scientific communities. They also had the opportunity to engage with other Joint Fund grantees from different disciplines and hold project meetings with NAS and STDF program officers. The Symposium’s reception highlighted the achievements of the Joint Fund’s innovation program. The event’s agenda can be found here.
This was the second symposium organized by the Joint Fund. The first event was held in Cairo in October of 2016 and featured the work of collaborative research projects from Cycle 17. Please find the agenda for the 2016 Symposium here.
