RECOGNIZING L’ORÉAL USA FOR WOMEN IN SCIENCE FELLOWS

On Thursday, November 9 the Committee will host an informal gathering of distinguished scientists, engineers, and medical professionals to celebrate the successes of female scientists and engineers and to recognize the 2017 L’Oreal USA for Women in Science Fellows. The event will include brief presentations on barriers and opportunities for women in science by Janine Clayton of the National Institutes of Health; Ann Bartuska of Resources of the Future; and Dawn Tilbury of the National Science Foundation. A full agenda can be found below. The event will run from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the National Academy of Sciences Building, 2101 Constitution Ave. N.W., Washington, D.C.
