Sandral Hullett is CEO and Medical Director of Cooper Green Hospital/Jefferson Health System and is a member of the Institute of Medicine. Dr. Hullett received an MD from the Medical College of Pennsylvania in 1976 and a M.P.H from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1987. Dr. Hullett has received Honorary Doctorates from A.O.H. Theological Seminary and Judson College. She is also the recipient of numerous awards for her work on rural, community based research and increased access to health care for underserved and minority groups including being named Rural Practitioner of the Year by the National Rural Health Association. Her interests are in policy with affective development of managed care programs, especially as they relate to the poor and elderly and to minorities.
