An AdHoc Committee will prepare a comprehensive resource planning and staffing methodology guidebook for VHA Facility Management (Engineering) Programs. The resource and staffing methodology must take into account all significant parameters and variables involved in the VHA Engineering Programs. The methodology should yield customized outputs based on site specific input data, to enable specification of the optimal budget and staffing levels for each site.
Strengthening Air Force Human Capital Management
An ad hoc committee will assess and strengthen the various U.S. Air Force initiatives and programs working to improve person-job match and human capital management in coordinated support of optimal mission capability. The committee will review Air Force personnel policy and research capability for selection and classification testing to include both current status and future needs.
Systems Approaches to Improve Patient Care by Supporting Clinician Well-Being
An ad hoc committee will examine the scientific evidence regarding the causes of clinician burnout as well as the consequences for both clinicians and patients, and interventions to support clinician well-being and resilience. The committee will examine components of the clinical training and work environment that can contribute to clinician burnout in a variety of care settings, as well as potential systems interventions to mitigate those outcomes.
