Selam Araia Selam started working at National Academies in January 2019. Prior to joining the Fellowships Office, she worked in DEPS on the Board on Mathematical Sciences and Analytics (BMSA) as a Senior Program Assistant. After receiving a B.S. in Economics and focus on Math, she spent a few years as a Financial Aid Specialist at Strayer University and Howard University. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, being active, and reading.
