Yemi Tesfaye

Yemi began working at the Fellowships Office in 2022. She supports the Applications Team with various programs such as the NRC Research Associateship Programs, the Ford Foundation Fellowship Programs, the Jefferson Science Fellowships, the CZI Science Diversity Leadership Award, and the Army Research Laboratory (ARL) Distinguished Postdoctoral Fellowships. Prior to joining the National Academies, Yemi has worked in different fields with a particular emphasis on international development and global human rights. She holds a B.A. in Political Science with concentrations in Public Policy & Administration and an M.A. in Development Economics and International Cooperation. In her spare time, Yemi enjoys travelling, reading, learning languages, music, and spending time with loved ones.
