Dilshan De Mel

Dilshan De Mel received his B.S. in Business and Accounting from SUNY Plattsburgh and his Masters in Financial Management from the University of Maryland. Dilshan joined the Fellowships of Office in September 2015 and is currently responsible for the financial management of the AFRL Research Associateship Program and assists with the Jefferson Science Fellowship Program as well as with the Ford Foundation Fellowship Programs. Prior to joining the Fellowships office, Dilshan worked for the OCFO at NAS as a Senior Accountant. As a Senior Accountant he was largely responsible for letter of credit draw downs, billing, financial reporting and award reconciliations as well as audit support.
