UIDP offers sponsorship opportunities to organizations that want to increase their visibility within the UIDP community or help the UIDP meet its organizational goals. UIDP sponsorships can be provided for a variety of activities and purposes; representative sponsorships include meeting or project support, or assistance for a specific educational program.
Meeting Sponsorships
A small and strategic set of sponsorships allows the UIDP to produce quality meetings. These opportunities are limited to avoid over-commercialization of UIDP meetings, and the type of meeting sponsorship determines the level of acknowledgement. Meeting sponsorships can vary but are generally assigned at the following levels: Host Sponsor – For organizations that agree to host a UIDP event and provide the majority of meals, meeting facilities and logistical assistance at the event. Typically, this level of support is approximately $15,000 in direct costs or in-kind services/materials. General Sponsor – For organizations that provide $2500 (direct cash investment or in-kind) toward a specific meeting. Other sponsorships – Other amounts are welcome and potential sponsors should discuss with UIDP staff to determine the needs for specific meetings/activities and which benefits accrue with the planned investment. Sponsors can be acknowledged in a variety of ways including conference signage and printed materials. UIDP will use a company logo as provided. In addition, a limited number of registrations will be provided with sponsorships. Project Sponsorships The UIDP adopts projects to advance the mission of the UIDP. Sponsors are sought to underwrite the costs of organizing and managing these projects. UIDP Contacts To inquire about a sponsorship opportunity, please contact the UIDP at
