Janet Bercovitz is an Associate Professor in the Department of Business Administration at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she teaches courses in Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship. Her research program consists of two main streams. The first focuses on issues of organizational structure and inter-organizational contractual relationships. The second stream concentrates on extending understanding of academic entrepreneurship and university-industry technology transfer. Her work has been published in Management Science, Organization Science, Strategic Management Journal, Research Policy, and the Journal of Technology Transfer.
