Ms. Beth Mersch is the Director, Export Operations and Assessments, Northrop Grumman Export/Import Shared Services. She is responsible for interface to the U.S. Government for all Northrop Grumman export licensing matters and for conduct of operational compliance assessments across the company, in conjunction with the business sectors. Export Operations personnel are also responsible for assistance to the business sectors on technology release matters, including LO/CLO Review, compliance with INS/GPS policy, software source code release, etc.
Ms. Mersch has over 25 years experience in U.S. export and import operations and compliance. Ms. Mersch’s career has spanned aircraft (GE Aviation), space (Hughes Space and Communications) and Fortune 500 Aerospace and Defense company consulting (JP Morgan Chase Vastera). Ms. Mersch is also a licensed Customs Broker. She holds degrees in Political Science and International Business from Xavier University, Cincinnati, Ohio. Ms. Mersch’s primary focus is on the integration of legal and regulatory requirements governing international trade compliance to operational business processes and developing effective assessment methods to assure ongoing process improvement.
