Christine Mirzayan Science & Technology Policy Graduate Fellowship Program
The Christine Mirzayan Science & Technology Policy Graduate Fellowship Program within the Policy and Global Affairs Division of the National Academies is designed to engage its Fellows in the analytical process that informs U.S. science and technology policy.  Fellows develop basic skills essential to working or participating in science policy at the federal, state, or local levels.

Ford Foundation Fellowships
Designed to increase the diversity of the nation's college and university faculties by increasing their ethnic and racial diversity, to maximize the educational benefits of diversity, and to increase the number of professors who can and will use diversity as a resource for enriching the education of all students. Predoctoral fellowships support study toward a Ph.D. or Sc.D.; Dissertation fellowships offer support in the final year of writing the Ph.D. or Sc.D. thesis; Postdoctoral Fellowships offer one-year awards for Ph.D. recipients. Applicants must be U.S. citizens in research-based fields of study.

Jefferson Science Fellows
Tenured faculty in science and engineering from U.S. colleges or universities spend one year at the U.S. Department of State as advisers on science policy.

Resident Research Associateships
Postdoctoral (within 5 years of the doctorate) and Senior (normally 5 years or more beyond the doctorate) Research Awards sponsored by federal laboratories at over one hundred locations in the United States and overseas and are given for the purpose of conducting research in areas that are of interest to them and to the host laboratories and centers.
